An ambitious, sustainability-focused restaurant located at the historic town of Weymouth, Dorset is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to help shape the future of its kitchen. This role also offers a chance for the right chef to progress quickly in the role to Head Chef.

With a clear and committed ambition to achieve a Green Michelin Star, this is a kitchen where sustainability is not a trend — it’s a philosophy that informs every decision, from sourcing and menu design to waste reduction and energy use.

The Role - Senior Sous Chef

  • Working closely with the Head Chef/Owner, you will:
  • Help lead a modern, produce-driven kitchen with a strong sense of place
  • Champion sustainable sourcing, ethical suppliers and low-waste cooking
  • Support and develop a motivated, skilled brigade
  • Maintain exceptional standards of consistency, flavour and presentation
  • Play an active role in menu development and seasonal creativity

About You - Senior Sous Chef

  • Experienced Senior Sous Chef, or a confident Sous ready to step up and work towards Head Chef status
  • Passionate about sustainability and responsible cooking
  • Calm, organised and confident leading a kitchen service
  • Background in farm to plate sustainable dining preferred
  • Curious, driven and proud of your craft
